      ATTACHMENT AND BABY'S DEVELOPING BRAIN

Instructors: Chris White, M.D.  and Todd Sarner, MA, MFT,   - See the About Us page for more information

          Friday, February 26th   12:30-2pm

Our children are on an incredible journey — the journey of becoming fully themselves. What do they need to start this journey off on the right foot? What can we do as parents to optimally support their developing brains and minds as they undergo the incredible transformation from a single celled organism to a fully-developed adult human being?  Join us for an introductory discussion on what Attachment theory, Developmental Psychology, and Interpersonal Neurobiology has taught us about human maturation and the role we parents play as nourishment for our children's growth.

In this class we will:
1. Discuss how parent-child relationships affect the organization of the child's developing brain.
2. Provide insight into some of the modern-day challenges we face in parenting our children.
3. Introduce our up-and-coming 12-week class designed to help you as parent's continue your own    maturation while simultaneously optimizing the development of your children.
