Infant Massage For babies 2 weeks to 10 months ( pre-crawling)
Friday October 8th 11am-1pm
Fee: $40 per family handouts included as well as oil for the massage.
Class covers instruction in touch stimulation techniques for the whole of your baby's body. A time to relax and be playful, and gain support from other parents.
Benefits to baby:
- Sleep better
- Relieve gas and colic discomfort and promote healthy digestion
- Encourage healthy muscles and joints development and function
- Have lower levels of stress hormones and be able to calm more easily!
- Have a special time of bonding for you and your baby.
Fathers, partners and other caregivers are also encouraged to come to this class
and are included in the fee (per family!).

Hands-On Prenatal Class for Guys!

Most guys have never taken care of an infant before they have one of their own. This is a hands-on class designed to help you get through the inevitable "it's your turn," and you really haven't got a clue. After this class, things may still take a little longer, but you won't break your brand new baby!
Hands on with dolls, swaddle blankets and diapers!!
We'll cover the essentials only:
- Changing
- Swaddling
- Feeding
- When to call the doctor.

The Mind in Labor - Working with Pain and Fear in Childbrith.

Often pain and anxiety are our greatest challenges in childbirth. Learning to use our mind to work with these challenges can make a huge difference in our labor and delivery experiences. These workshops will be a time to look deeply at pain and fear in childbirth and to cultivate present moment awareness for meeting whatever childbirth experience might unfold. The workshops are an excellent complement to any childbirth education class. Ideal for:
- Those who anticipate a birth experience requiring special medical attention
- Those who have had a previous difficult birth experience.
- Those needing a refresher class
Please bring bag lunch/snack. Water and tea provided
